Believe it or not, a simple ‘letter to the editor’ can have significant impact. Due to the geographic isolation of the Lake Okeechobee Region, many of our neighboring communities are unaware of the successes and/or challenges the people of the Glades experience.

We invite you to share your truths, opinions, and thoughts on current issues with the media. Wether it be calling attention to an problem, dispelling misinformation, sharing a success story, or asking for further media coverage on a topic, a few words can go a long way. Your letter can help tell the story of our Region, rather than allowing outsiders to tell it.
